Halley Stevensons

For our Row jackets we selected Halley Stevensons waxed cotton. This durable, water-resistant textile draws from the 15th-century tradition of sailors waterproofing flax sails with oils and waxes. Halley Stevensons, innovators since 1864, continue this heritage by crafting waxed cotton using natural ingredients. The fabric offers reliable protection against the elements and develops a unique patina over time, enhancing its character. We see it as an original technical material that utilises the properties of natural ingredients.

Merino Wool

We choose to work with Merino wool due to it’s exceptional softness and comfort. It is composed of ultra-fine diameterfibers, typically less than 22 microns, which ensures its luxurious, non-itchyfeel. This fineness, combined with a distinct natural crimp, provides elasticity and resilience while creating insulating air pockets for adaptive temperature regulation. The fiber also offers natural water resistance. All ofthese properties make it one of the best choices for making knitted sweaters.
